Black woman with natural hair

Our Story

Tales of aNatural Hair Girl

A love letter to every Black woman who ever stood in the mirror and didn't know where to start.

Natural hair journey

How It Started

Born from a
personal journey.

It started with a bathroom mirror, a head full of 4C coils, and a complete lack of guidance. Our founder, Adaeze, spent years and thousands of dollars on products that promised everything and delivered nothing — because they were never made for her hair.

Tales of a Natural Hair Girl was born from that frustration — and from the conversations she had with thousands of Black women across the globe who shared the same story.

Today, we are a community, a resource, and a product line — all in one place. Built by Black women, for Black women, wherever in the world they may be.
